3. How We Use Your Information and Legal Basis

We process your personal data only for specific purposes, each with a lawful basis:

To respond to your inquiry and prepare a quote — basis: your consent and the steps necessary to respond to your request prior to a possible contract.
To send you marketing communications (travel ideas and offers) — basis: your separate, optional consent. We never send marketing unless you opt in.
To protect the website from spam and abuse (e.g. anti-bot checks) — basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

We share it only with service providers that help us operate, acting on our instructions: our website hosting provider, our email delivery provider (used to receive and reply to your inquiry), and security and anti-spam services (such as Cloudflare Turnstile). Some of our service providers are located outside Chile and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. When your data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under GDPR and Chilean law (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) to ensure it remains protected.

For quote and contact requests that do not result in a booking, we retain your data for up to 24 months from your last contact with us. If you opt in to marketing, we keep your contact details until you unsubscribe. We may retain certain data for longer where required to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
